The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) has said that its men have brought the Ikeja Gas Pipeline leakage under control.
Control TV News had earlier reported that the agency alerted residents on the gas leakage.

The statement reads;
“Residents around Computer Village /Underbridge Awolowo Way and Oba Akran axis, Onifowose Street, Medical Road must not open shops or use open naked fire for safety reason”.
Distressed alert just received indicates massive leakage of gas pipeline around these areas.
The affected areas are computer Village/Underbridge Awolowo Way, Oba Akran axis, Onifowose Street, Medical Road.
Giving update on the development, NEMA, in a statement said it had been contained and people can go on their daily routine.
It added that the traffic diversion around the areas are still in force.
