Watunet Limited, a Technology and social Media Company, incorporated in Nigeria is glad to announce the launch ‘’watunet’’, Africa’s Number one Social Media Platform expressing AFRICA’s heritage to the World.
This social media App was borne out of the urgent need for Africans to have their own platform, where they can have a melting point for discuss surrounding the African heritage, culture, business & trade opportunities that exists within the global space.
All in the spirit of Ubuntu; the spirit that binds the African continent together, the spirit that stands on the principle of oneness, understanding that I am because we are.

The Founder/CEO Chukwudi ThankGod chukwuemeka defined Watunet as a combination of two words; watu and network. Watu is a Swahili word for ‘’the people’’ and we came up with watunet which implies The People’s Network.
The watunet social media has a great range of functions and contents therein which includes but not limited to the ability to chat and connect with people across different cultural diversity, a research center for the academia and corporate business people, a market place for business people to sell their products. You can also get entertained in our sports and music column, a dating site for the young and elderly and so much more.
