Six persons have been confirmed dead in a 3-storey building that collapsed in the Ebutte Meta axis of Lagos Mainland Local Government Area of Lagos State on Sunday.

According to Control TV correspondent, 8 people have been confirmed dead. However it is not clear how many people are trapped under the rubble.
Men of the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service, Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, National Emergency Management Agency, among others are at the scene.
