Eyewitnesses stated that the duo, Michael Akinwale and Isiaka Sooku, was allegedly killed by miscreants who fought each other when they were sharing the money.

It was gathered on Monday that the remains of the duo have been buried at Akanran area of Ibadan.

It was gathered that the money was given to the area boys by a clinic that sunk a borehole in the area on Saturday morning.

It was gathered that the killing of the duo has caused panic among residents of the areas such as Oja Igbo, Kosodo and Idi-Radio.

Some of the residents of the area, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, called for the establishment of a police post in the area so as to curb incessant clashes in the area.

Security vehicles and officials have been strategically placed in the area to prevent further breakdown of law and order.

All efforts to get a reaction from the Public Relations Officer of the State Police Command, Mr Adewale Osifeso, proved abortive.
