The Gamji members association has excoriated the decision of the Shinkafi Emirate Council in Zamfara State in which they conferred Femi Fani-Kayode with the traditional title of “Sadaukin Shinkafi”.
This was contained in a press statement by the president of the association, Dr Abdullahi Bala Isa, who said the association was saddened and disappointed by the decision of the Shinkafi Emirate council.
The association said that conferment of the Shinkafi title to FFK was ill-informed and wrongly-timed as Fani Kayode’s Past Antecedents Ridiculed and despised the institution without any form of provocation.

They further urged the Council to withdraw the entitlement given to FFK as adherence to it would instill confidence back to the Gamji members.
