National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu on Wednesday announced a N50 million donation for victims of the Katsina Central Market Fire.
Tinubu made the announcement when he paid a condolence visit to the Katsina State government and victims of the fire. He was received by the State Governor, Aminu Masari, and other top government officials in the State.

The fire had razed many stalls and destroyed goods and properties worth millions of naira on Monday.
Tinubu condoled with victims of the fire and advised that market activities resume, saying life must continue.
Earlier, a six-man delegation from the Federal Government had visited the affected market including the Katsina Government House to also sympathise with the victims on Tuesday.
The delegation includes the Minister of Interior, Ra’uf Aregbosola, Minister of Aviation, Senator Hadi Sirika, Minister of Police Affairs, Muhammad Maigari Dingyadi, Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami as well as the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Hajiya Sa’adiyya Umar Faruq and the President’s Spokesman, Garba Shehu.
