At least three policemen have been confirmed dead in a car crash along Kidanda in the Giwa Local Government Area of Kaduna State, Northwest Nigeria.

This was confirmed to journalists by DSP Mohammed Jalige, the spokesperson for the State Police Command.
It was learned that the officers were on their way to Giwa council area after attending the Eid-el-Fitri Hawan Dauche celebration in Zaria on Sunday when the accident occurred around 9 p.m.
The accident occurred after one of the tyres of the police vehicle blew out in Sako village, Kidanda ward, killing three officers.
According to reports, three others were injured and taken to the hospital for treatment.
