Popular Yoruba activist, Sunday Igboho has filed a suit at the Federal High Court, Abuja for the release of his Aides who were arrested in his house earlier ,this month.
It could be recalled that on the 1st of July, 2021, the Department of State Services invaded the house of Chief Sunday Igboho at Soka area, Ibadan and arrested thirteen of his Aide while two were shot dead.

The Yoruba Nation Agitation’s Solicitor Chief Yomi Aliyu (SAN) on Thursday confirmed that he had filed a motion in court for the release of the 13 persons in custody.
He also stated that according to Olayomi Koiki, the spokesman of Sunday Igboho, the DSS did not allow Lawyers to see the Aides.
Meanwhile Igboho has denied the allegations that Arms and Amunitions recovered from his house belongs to him. He insists that they were planted in his house by the Department of State Services to implicate.
