State Executives from Nigeria’s South-South region have converged on Portharcourt, the Rivers State Capital for a crucial meeting.
Sources say, the parley which is not the first of it’s kind in recent months seeks to deliberate on issues such as zoning of the nation’s number one political seat in the 2023 election,open grazing,the value added tax palaver as well as other contentious issues.

Present at the meeting are the Edo state Governor Goodwin Obaseki,his Delta State counterpart Ifeanyi Okowa, Emmanuel Udom of Akwa Ibom, Governor Douye Diri of Bayelsa State as well as host Governor Nyesom Wike.
In addition,inside sources revealed
that the Governors are ever more determined than ever to position the region ahead of it’s peers both politically,economically and indeed all spheres of our national life.
