The former senator representing Kaduna Central, Shehu Sani, has said that the over four thousand herdsmen that returned from the southern parts of the country should be shared by northern governors.
Recall that Control TV earlier reported how 4,000 herdsmen have reportedly moved into Kaduna State from the south following numerous quit notice orders given to criminal herders by some state governments in the south.

Journalists were told that a popular grazing community in the state, the Labduga community in Kachia Local Government Area, started witnessing a large influx of these herdsmen and their cattle last week.
The Kaduna State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) also confirmed this development with its official, Hussaini Abdullahi, saying they had so far verified about 4, 000, even as more were still on the way to Kaduna.
Abdullahi said most of the fleeing herders have lost their means of livelihood and needed food and non-food items urgently. “But we have also observed that they are also suffering from psychosocial trauma and they, therefore, need psychosocial counseling.
“We will soon visit them and conduct a needs assessment of their situation to see where we can possibly assist them,” he had said.
However, the senator in his tweet said the herdsmen should be taken to each state in north according to the allocation of each northern state.
He tweeted, “The 4K Herders returned from the south should not all camp in Kaduna;Abeg Northern Governors share them according to federal allocation.”
The herdsmen are having a torrid time in the south over criminal activities that include killings, kidnappings and the destruction of farmlands linked to the nomads of Fulani extraction.
