Human Rights Lawyer Femi Falana has asked State Governors in Nigeria to take their responsibilities seriously by sharing powers with the President on issues of Security and economy.
Falana was speaking while delivering a lecture at the Convocation ceremony in Ado the Ekiti state capital today.
According to him, the powerful forces in Nigeria are opposed to restructuring.
The Senior Advocate of Nigeria says state governors are relevant stakeholders in the 39 member Nigeria Police Council and should act accordingly
Falana also charged the Nigerian masses fight for freedom from the hands political scavengers
Also speaking at the occasion, The former Emir of Kano , Sanusi Lamido Sanusi says Nigeria must address some fundamental issues that precede restructuring.
