Heavy fighting and shooting has been reported in the Ogba, Ikeja ares of Lagos State with 3 persons reportedly killed by the Police.
Trouble broke out in the area as policemen had stern confrontation with the motorcycle riders Or Okada riders mostly made up of a mix of Yoruba
and Hausa tribesmen.
The area in recent times has been embroiled with this kind of clashes with security forces often times accused by the bike riders of harassment and extortion.
The event of today however turned bloody forcing closure of shops as businesses are brought to a total lockdown.
Residents in the area scampered for safety in the heat of the clash. Some person were reported to have been wounded in the process.
Efforts to reach the state police command is still on going.
