A tank farm at Marine Beach, Apapa area of Lagos State, is currently on fire.
The fire which broke out on Thursday is being battled by the Federal Fire and NIMASA Fire Services.
The Southwest Zonal Coordinator, National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), Mr. Ibrahim Farinloye, said that the staff of Oando which owns the tank farm have been evacuated.

UPDATE ON TANK FARM FIRE AT OANDO DEPOT ALONG GASKIYA ROAD, IJORA BADIA
A combined response team of public and private stakeholders have managed to localize the fire and prevent it from spreading to any secondary sites or adjoining locations. The tank however has a capacity of 7.5 million litres. It is currently burning off in a controlled manner.
All appropriate measures to combat the flames and prevent secondary incidents have been taken.
Lagosians are urged to remain calm.
