Pandemonium as hoodlums on Thursday invaded Mile 12, the Kosofe Local Government Area of Lagos State causing passersby to scamper for safety.
The incident which was made known in a viral video shared by a Twitter user showed residents and motorists fleeing for their lives as they sought safety.

While another eye withness said via Twitter “I escaped mogging and robbery by some whiskers this morning, Boyz legit were robbing vehicles and pax this morning at Mile 12, the police were there .
It’s a pity for Nigeria, i swear …
We are in a full blown anarchy …
I can’t explain what channeled that bad energy” He twitted.
However, the Lagos State police spokesman, Muyiwa Adejobi, confirmed the incident and said normalcy has been restored through his official twitter account.

According to him, “Normalcy has returned to Gengere, Mile 12 area of Lagos State following a fight that broke out between some hoodlums in the area. The command will give details soon”.
