The wife of Nollywood Veteran Joke silva has come out to denounce claims that her husband Olu Jacobs is dead.
Some few hours ago, fake news went viral regarding his death but the actress discarded it as a fake news. The legendary actor Olu Jacobs trended on Twitter and Facebook on Tuesday night with reports claiming that the he has passed on.
However popular Nollywood actress and also wife to Olu, “Joke silva” spoke with journalists and confirmed that her husband is alive and doing well.
“This is to inform the general public that our legendary Actor, Olu Jacobs is alive, very hale and hearty,” she said.
Also Actress and producer, Lala Akindoju, who put a call through to the actor also confirmed that he is hale and hearty in a tweet.
In a tweet she made, she revealed that she spoke with him on phone and that the public should stop circulating ‘fake news’. She said, he is alive and well.
“Uncle Olu Jacobs is alive and well. Very much so. I just got off the phone with him. Please stop spreading fake news”,
