The Director General of National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Brigadier General YD Ahmed has paid a visit to Onuoha Elvis Udodiri, a Corps Member who is on admission at the Ibom Hospital in Uyo, Akwa-Ibom State.
Elvis, who was an INEC adhoc staff during the House of Assembly rerun election in the State, was hospitalized after being shot on the leg by gunmen at the village hall, Ikot Eduek Itak in Ikono Local Government Area of the State.
Ahmed, while commending the hospital management for the prompt and effective treatment being offered to Elvis, prayed for his quick recovery.
Expressing delight at the fatherly disposition, the Chief Medical Director of the hospital, Dr Ini Etukudo expressed the readiness of the hospital towards providing effective medicare for the Corps Member
In his response, Elvis appreciated the Director General and the hospital management, adding that there is a lot tremendous improvement in him, expressing high hope to be on his feet again.
