Nigeria has recorded over 130,000 recoveries from the novel coronavirus disease, COVID-19.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said the country recorded 655 new cases of the disease via its official twitter page on wednesday night.
875 patients were also discharged after their recovery.

The NCDC noted that its report included 297 community recoveries in Lagos State and 93 community recoveries in Edo State managed in line with guidelines.
The centre added that the data from Edo State was recorded over the last two days.
Meanwhile, 11 new deaths were reported.
20 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) recorded new cases.
Lagos recorded the highest number of cases on Wednesday with 240, while Ogun State followed with 88 new infections.
Also, Rivers State recorded 56 new cases while the FCT recorded 51 new cases.

Others are from Kaduna (43), Kano (25), Plateau (21), Taraba (19), Edo (17), Abia (15), Delta (13), Nasarawa (11), Akwa Ibom (10), Kwara (10), Oyo (10), Kebbi (9), Borno (5), Bayelsa (4), Gombe (4), Ekiti (2), and Osun (2).
The total number of confirmed cases is now 153,842.
