Nigeria’s total confirmed COVID-19 cases hit 164,000 as 89 new infections were reported on Tuesday.
The Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), in its daily update on Coronavirus, said 45 patients recovered and were discharged from various isolation centres and no fatality was recorded.

A State-by-State analysis of the fresh cases revealed the following; Lagos-19, FCT-15, Adamawa-12, Akwa Ibom-10, Cross River-9, Rivers-6, Ogun-6, Kano-5, Kaduna-4 and Osun-3.
Till date, Nigeria has registered 154,270 recoveries and 2,061 deaths.
