Nigeria’s COVID-19 cases have increased by 97 across the country, leaving the total number of recorded cases at 162,275.
Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) in its daily record update shows that Lagos had 50 new cases, while Kaduna recorded 12 and FCT 10.
Bayelsa had a record of 8, Imo and Kwara 3, Bauhi and Osun 2 each.

Meanwhile, Akwa Ibom, Edo, Kano, Ogun, Oyo, Plateau, and Zamfara, had a record of 1 respectively.
In the record made available, 5 death cases were recorded, leaving the total number at 2,036
The total number of discharged cases was also recorded to be 149,882 discharged
“1,015 community recoveries in FCT and 10 community recoveries in Akwa Ibom State managed in line with guidelines,” NCDC said.

Added to the filing, NCDC presented a breakdown of cases by state.
