Nigeria on Tuesday reported zero COVID-19-related death for the ninth consecutive days as the nation’s fatality toll remains 2,061.
Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), in its daily update, said 120 new infections were reported from eight Nigerian States.

The breakdown of the fresh cases, as given by the NCDC, are as follows; Enugu-53, Lagos-22, Rivers-18, Ogun-8, FCT-7, Abia-6, Kano-5 and Bauchi-1.
The Centre for Disease Control further disclosed that 22 patients recovered and have been discharged from different isolation centres in the country.
As of 20th April 2021, Nigeria has confirmed a total of 164,423 COVID-19 cases and 154,406 was successfully managed.
