Nigeria on Tuesday recorded 156 new cases of COVID-19 which take the total confirmed infections to 164,912.
According to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), the fresh cases were reported in 11 States.

State-by-State breakdown of cases revealed the following; Lagos-50, Enugu-43, Adamawa-40, FCT-8, Ogun-5, Akwa Ibom-3, Plateau-3, Jigawa-1, Kaduna-1, Oyo-1 and Rivers-1.
The NCDC added that 43 patients recovered and were discharged from isolation centres while a person died of complication.
Meanwhile, the National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA) said a total of 1,181,941 have been vaccinated in the country.
