Men of the Rapid Response Squad, RRS in Ekiti state reportedly arrested the Agent of Social Democratic Party at St Michael Pry School, block 1, water walks, area II, Ajilosun’, ward 4, Polling Unit 2, during the 2023 general elections today.

The Party Agent (name withheld), was seen complaining about the position of the cubicle, adding that the votes casted can be easily seen by other voters, hence robbing the electoral process of privacy.
Control TV observed during the process, a yet to be identified man was moving around polling units in the ward, persuading electorates to vote only APC Candidates or leave the polling unit immediately.
Speaking to Control TV under anonymity, a witness disclosed that the party agent was escorted out of the polling unit because she was trying to disorganise the electoral process.
“She was shouting at everyone because of the way the ballot boxes and other electoral materials were arranged, her behaviour was distracting the electorates that’s why she was escorted out of the polling unit”. He said
After few hours, the RRS officials returned the previously arrested SDP party agent to the polling unit.
Efforts to speak to the SDP party agent proved abortive as she refused to give audience to Journalists at the polling unit.
