Embattled Minister of Niger Delta affairs [NDDC], Godswill Akpabio, has disclosed the names of some senators who allegedly got contracts from the Niger Delta Development Commission.
The Former Governor of Akwa Ibom, revealed the names in an addendum which was added to his response to the threat by the House of Representatives to sue him for his misconception in which he stated that federal lawmakers were the major contractors of NDDC.
Akpabio stated that one of the lawmakers had 19 contracts from 2019 budget of the NDDC which was worth N9 billion.
The minister further revealed that four senators have received contracts from the commission between 2017 to date.

1. Senator Peter Nwaoboshi – allegedly executed 53 NDDC
2. Matthew Urhoghide – six projects
3. James Manager – six projects
4. Sam Anyanwu – 19 projects
In the Addendum, Akpabio also alleged that Nicholas Mutu, who was the former chairman, House of Representatives committee on the NDDC, is linked with 74 projects which included various emergency road projects in Delta, Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa, and Rivers states.
