The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has reported 903 new cases of the novel coronavirus disease, COVID-19.
Since the nation recorded its first case on February 27, 2020, this figure represents the highest daily count.
The new figure surpasses the recent record of 796 cases in a single day.
The NCDC, in its daily update on Wednesday, disclosed that a total of 930 new cases have been recorded while a total of 281 recoveries were recorded on it’s official twitter account.

The centre said the recoveries include 106 community recoveries in Lagos State managed in line with guidelines.
As of Wednesday night, Nigeria’s total number of confirmed cases stood at 75,062.
While 66,775 patients have recovered, 1,200 fatalities have been recorded.
The NCDC further advised that citizens adhere to the covid-19 guidelines in order to curtail the spread of the virus.
