Nigeria’s COVID-19 cases have increased by 71 across the country, leaving the total number of recorded cases at 163,652.
Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) in its daily record update shows that Lagos had 24 new cases, while Yobe recorded 13 and Rivers 9.

While Akwa Ibom, FCT and Kano documented 6, Osun had a record of 3, Delta 2, Jigawa and Plateau listed 1 respectively.
In the record made available, 1 deaths was recorded, leaving the statistics at 2,059.
The total number of discharged cases was also recorded to be 154,073.
