The Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Dr Isa Ibrahim Pantami has approved new guidelines for Courier, Logistics services 2020.
Dr Isa Ibrahim Pantami, in a letter of approval to NIPOST and a statement by the General Manager, Communication of NIPOST, Mr Frank Alao said the new regulations would enhance the logistic and courier ecosystem of the economy and significantly improve efficiency making courier and logistic operation more effective, in line with President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration policy on ease of doing business.
The statement explains that the Regulations and categorization policy will assist SMEs to grow and create youth empowerment.
The new guidelines will also eliminate the risk posed by dubious courier operators who may take advantage of poor Courier service control to operate illegally.
