Ex Manchester United Player, Roy Keane has launched a scathing attack on the United’s squad, suggesting the players could get Ole Gunnar Solskjaer sacked.
United were thumped by Tottenham at Old Trafford on Sunday, conceding six goals at home for just the second time in Premier League history.
It compounded an unimpressive start to the new season by United, with two defeats and one fortuitous win from three games, in stark contrast to their run-in last season which saw them secure a third-place finish.
When asked about Sunday’s defeat on ITV, Keane said: “I’ve been saying it for the last 12 months, year and a half … their performance against Spurs was disgraceful.
“You all have bad days in football. Some of the players were a disgrace to the Man United badge.
“Disgraceful. Too many bluffers and, ultimately, these players will cost Ole his job
“The players he has got there – they threw the previous manager [Jose Mourinho] under the bus [and] they will do the same to Ole.” (ES)
