The Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN), on Sunday, condemned the killings of 22 Muslims travelling along Gada Biyu Jos North local government area of Plateau State.
22 Muslim faithful had allegedly been killed in Plateau State by hoodlums while on their way back from the ‘Annual Zikr prayers’ in Bauchi.

In a statement on Sunday, National Secretary of the association, Baba Othman Ngelzarma said the travellers who were from Ondo State had gone to Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi in Bauchi State for the New Islamic Year celebrations and were in a convoy of four buses when they were attacked without any motive.
Othman Ngelzarma further condemned the senseless violence on innocent people and called on security agents to fish out perpetrators of the dastardly act.

He said the wanton killings of innocent people came barely two weeks after trucks carrying livestock foodstuff were vandalized at the same location.
“Plateau, which enjoyed peace in recent times is seeing an escalation in the run-up to the local by-election which is unacceptable.
“MACBAN commiserate with the families of those who lost their lives and those injured.” The statement said.
