Television Great and talk show legend, Larry King, has died of COVID-19 at the aage of 87.
His death was announced in a statement via his official Twitter handle.

It Reads:
“With profound sadness, Ora Media announces the death of our co-founder, host, and friend Larry King, who passed away this morning at age 87 at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles,” statement read.
“For 63 years and across the platforms of radio, television and digital media, Larry’s many thousands of interviews, awards, and global acclaim stand as a testament to his unique and lasting talent as a broadcaster.
“Additionally, while it was his name appearing in the shows’ titles, Larry always viewed his interview subjects as the true stars of his programs, and himself as merely an unbiased conduit between the guest and audience.
“Whether he was interviewing a U.S. president, foreign leader, celebrity, scandal-ridden personage, or an everyman, Larry liked to ask short, direct, and uncomplicated questions. He believed concise questions usually provided the best answers, and he was not wrong in that belief.”
King had an inspiring career that spanned more than six decades, interving just about anyone with such finesse and professionalism. His condition was made worst in hospital as he also had type 2 diabetes and had suffered from lung cancer, angina and heart attacks in recent years.
King’s broadcasting fame began in the 1970s with his radio programme The Larry King Show, which he hosted on the network Mutual Broadcasting System.
He then went on to have his own television show, Larry King Live on CNN, between 1985 and 2010, where his guests included politicians, children, celebrities, captains of industry, musicians and sports stars.
Great Larry King will be missed by millions all over the world.
