Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has announced that all tertiary institutions in the state are to reopen on September 14.
The governor stated this during his COVID-19 briefing on Saturday at the State House, Marina.
Mr Sanwo-Olu said all primary and secondary schools may tentatively be reopened by September 21.
“I am pleased to announce that our tertiary institution will be allowed to reopen from September 14, 2020, all our tertiary institutions,” he said.
“This decision is not cast in stone and is subject to review of our ongoing modelling and what procedure comes out from the ministry of health.”
He further said all bars, lounges, spas, night clubs are to remain closed.
