After 20 seasons and 14 years, television show, Keeping Up With the Kardashians will air its final season in 2021.
Kim Kardashian made the announcement to her 188 million Instagram followers on Wednesday morning.
“I am so incredibly grateful to everyone who has watched and supported me and my family these past 14 incredible years,” she wrote.
“This show made us who we are and I will be forever in debt to everyone who played a role in shaping our careers and changing our lives forever.”
The series, which debuted in October 2007, sparked 12 spin-off series, including Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami and Revenge Body with Khloe Kardashian.
The show’s early focus was on Kris Kardashian and her daughters, Kim, Kourtney and Khloe, their relationships and their business exploits.
The daughters’ partners, including Disick, Lamar Odom and Reggie Bush, were featured.
In subsequent seasons, half-sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner took on more prominent roles.
An E! spokesperson said in a statement to CNN, in part, “While it has been an absolute privilege and we will miss them wholeheartedly, we respect the family’s decision to live their lives without our cameras.”
A new season will premiere September 17 and its final season will air in 2021.
