The meeting which was held behind closed door on Friday, June 16, comes amid the fuel subsidy removal and the unification of exchange rates by the government.
Although what was discussed at the meeting is yet to be known, it was said that issues about the country’s economy top the agenda.
Recall that Dangote who attended Tinubu’s inauguration on May 29, recently commissioned a multibillion naira oil refinery in Lagos state.
The refinery which has the capacity to process 650k barrels per day in a single train is the largest in the world. It is powered by a 435-megawatt power plant. At full capacity, it can meet 100 percent of the home requirements of all refined products, as well as meet export targets.
