Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki has resigned from the APC saying he will announce the platform on which he will run for Governor in an election few days away.
Governors Mandate stated that the governor is moving into the PDP with all the 18 Local Government Chairmen in Edo State together with 12 lawmakers in the State Assembly.
Also, Governors of the PDP are billed to visit him this weekend in other to firm up other issues.
A former House of Representatives candidate and a member of the PDP stated that the governor had little choice and that APC has lost a great member.
Obaseki was disqualified by the screening committee on the grounds that his HSC and NYSC certificates are defective.
