A former Governor of Taraba, Jolly Nyame, and an ex-Governor of Plateau State Joshua Dariye, who were recently granted state pardon by the National Council of State, have finally been released from the Kuje Medium Security Custodial Centre, Abuja.

While Dariye was imprisoned for stealing N1.16bn public fund, Nyame was jailed for stealing N1.6bn.
The duo were among the 159 prisoners pardoned by the Council at a meeting presided over by President Muhammadu Buhari in April.
