The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested the former Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) Nsima Ekere.

This was made known by EFCC’s spokesman, Wilson Uwujaren on Wednesday.
Control TV learnt that Nsima was picked up for allegedly diverting the sum of N47 billion.
It was gathered that the former NDDC boss allegedly laundered the funds through registered contractors of the commission.
A former House of Representatives Speaker, Patricia Etteh was also arrested on Tuesday by the EFCC for allegedly diverting over N200m NDDC contract.
