Control TV reports that in a video shared by Arise TV, Shaibu was allowed into the venue of the 60th anniversary of the Midwest referendum organized by the state government, however his entourage was denied access.
When Shaibu requested permission for his team to accompany him, a security official blocked their way.
After a period of waiting, the deputy governor signaled his team to leave the venue, visibly frustrated.
The Deputy Governor then led his aides out of the venue, and they departed in their vehicles.
