The candidate of the All progressives Congress, Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji has been declared winner of the Ekiti state governorship election.

Oyebanji was declared winner and returned elected by the State Returning Officer, Prof. Kayode Oyebowale, at 3.05am Sunday.
He polled a total of 187,057 votes while ex-governor Segun Oni of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) scored a total of 82,211.
