The Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, has revealed it may suspend its ongoing industrial action soon.

It was disclosed via its official Twitter account that the strike might be called off.
The statement reads:
“The strike might be suspended soon. Stay tuned for more details! #ASUU #ASUUStrike”
This is coming a few hours after President Muhammadu Buhari appealed to the union to consider the suffering of students and call off the strike.
