According to German publication Kicker, Sancho is having second thoughts about signing for Manchester United.
It is claimed that the 20-year-old would rather sign for the Red Devils’ bitter rivals Liverpool because they have a much greater chance of winning silverware in 2021.
The Borussia Dortmund forward, who joined the Bundesliga club for just £8million, is ready to return to England after three years in Germany.
United were very much at the front of the queue to sign him, with Sancho apparently keen to return to England where he used to live and make a name for himself in the Premier League.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side managed it on the final day of the campaign, making the Red Devils a much more attractive proposition for Sancho.
Liverpool qualified for the Champions League and won the Premier League, and are favourites to defend their domestic crown next season.
