Nigerian winger, Alex Iwobi showed his coach Carlo Ancelotti, exactly what he has been missing as he scored a goal and provided an assist as Everton enjoyed a 5-2 win over Fleetwood Town in the third round of the Carabao Cup.
The Nigeria International replied his critics with a man of the match performance in Everton’s victory over League One side, Fleetwood Town.
Iwobi’s future at Goodison Park has been a subject of debate due to the increased competition in Carlo Ancelotti’s squad.
However, in what was his first start after missing Everton’s opening two games of the season, Iwobi showed he still has a lot to offer in the Toffees squad.
