MINISTER of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has summoned an emergency security meeting following the worsening security situation in the nation’s capital.
At the start of the meeting, which is presently ongoing, Wike assured FCT residents that their safety is guaranteed.
The FCT Minister warned Area Council Chairmen to be alive to their responsibilities at the local level
He said the Government was working to supply security agencies with all they need to tackle insecurity
There have been reports of Bandits breaking into houses and abducting residents from the comfort of their homes.
The situation reached it’s peak when some residents, including a 13-year-old Secondary School Student, were killed over failure to meet the deadline of a ransom payment.
