The Ford Foundation has been thrown into morning with the sudden death of one of its leading analyst Mr. Innocent Chukwuma.
Mr. Chuks as fondly called died today. The foundation is yet to release details of the death of it’s member.
He was know for insightful views on political and socio economic issues in the country, featuring on primetime television programed like sunrise daily on Channels TV as well as AIT’s Kakaaki morning programe.
The Director general of the Nigeria Center For Disease Control NCDC Dr. Chikwe Ihekweazu in a tweet moments ago said he is sadened by the news of Chukwuma’s passing.

Meanwhile the Former Vice President Alhaji Atiku Abubakar has expressed sadness on he news of the death of Mr. Chucks saying Death has hit the civil society again.
On his Twitter handle Vice president Atiku eulogized the role of late Innocent to one who championed reforms in the police force in the country and more.
It is sad and tragic that death has hit the civil society again. Dr Innocent Chukwuma, activist and police reform advocate, cut his teeth organising against the military dictatorship.

Chukwuma who is forthright on political issues will be greatly missed as the elections in the country are less than 22 months away. He was Head of Ford Foundation West Africa.
