Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro says he his feeling better from the coronavirus, after treating himself with hydroxychloroquine.
The President had dismissed the seriousness of the virus and described it as little flu since the beginning of the pandemic.
Bolsonaro had criticized containment measures ordered by governors, health minister in Brazil despite the country being second most hit with Coronavirus behind the United States.
The president told reporters he underwent a lung X-ray on Monday after experiencing fever, muscle aches and malaise.

As of Thursday, his fever had subsided, he said, and he attributed the improvement to hydroxychloroquine.
I’m, well, normal. I even want to take a walk around here, but I can’t due to medical recommendations’ Bolsonaro said.
Later On, he posted a video to Facebook of him taking his third dose of hydroxychloroquine, which has also been promoted by President Donald Trump.
‘Today I’m a lot better, so certainly it’s working,’ Bolsonaro said, downing the dose with a glass of water.
The drug, originally tested to fight malaria, has been suggested as a treatment for COVID-19 in many countries but has not been formally approved.
