While questions still erupt on the reason Honorable Yakubu Dogara, Decamped from the People’s Democratic Party to the All Progressive Congress, The Former Speaker who served as the House of Representatives Member for Bogoro/Dass, has elucidated his reasons for joining the ruling party.
Hon. Yakubu Dogara, in his resignation leter tendered to the chairman of Bogoro ward, Bachi state, Noted that his defection to the APC became necessary as the aspiration for changes by PDP in which they fought hard for has begun Festering.
He stated that many deplorable fact hovered around the People Democratic Party (PDP) in which he couldn’t Label out without being charged for disloyalties
Honorable Yakubu Dogara, Now been a member of the All Progressive Congress Further listed out the the issues that prompted his defection.
He questioned;
1. What has happened to the LGA allocations since 2019.
2. What happened to the campaign promise to conduct LGA election within Six month of PDP governance.
3. What happened to the 6billion Naira Loan taken from a bank and paid directly into a private company account.
4. Why are we segmenting salaries and why is payment of salaries of state workers outscored to a private firm as consultants.
5. Why are contracts inflated, awarded and payment mobilization done in violation of extant Rules of procurement
6. Why are our highly revered traditional rulers treated with odium contrary to the guaranty we gave during campaigns that such will not happen during PDP government.
