A High Court sitting in Benin, Edo State has sentenced Popular socialite, Felicia Osaigbovo known as Mama Masha to 12 years imprisonment for trafficking 12 girls to Belgium.

According to the statement issued by the National Agency for Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons and Other Related Matters (NAPTIP) on tuesday, Osaigbovo, 62, was involved in the trafficking of 12 young Nigerian girls to Belgium for sexual exploitation.
Also , 12 collaborators along the line with three of the convicts children have been convicted in Belgium.
The convict was also accused with a 24-charge that includes assisting the activities of organizing foreign travels that prompted prostitution for twelve victims currently in Belgium.
Despite pleading not guilty to all the charges , the prosecution produced three eye witness to testify against the convict, including a Belgian Chief Inspector of Police and submitted 13 different exhibits as evidence.
The Judge, Justice Geraldine Imadegbelo , found the convict guilty on all 24 counts.
In her ruling, she handed her 12 years in prison with a N24 million fine.
