The Ekiti State Governor, Mr Biodun Oyebanji has offset the medical bills of six patients at the State University Teaching Hospital Ado-Ekiti.

The patients accosted the governor to solicit for financial assistance during his unscheduled visit to the hospital.
Governor Oyebanji accompanied by the Head of Service, Mr Bamidele Agbede and the Chief Press Secretary, Mr Yinka Oyebode was conducted round various sections of the Hospital by the Chief Medical Director of EKSUTH, Professor Kayode Olabanji.
Governor Oyebanji who was moved by the plights of the patients relieved them of their medical bills.
He maintained that his government would be responsive to the yearnings and aspirations of the people.
The governor said the visit was to have first hand information about happenings at the Hospital and as well identify some of the challenges facing the workers.

Governor Oyebanji also moved round the State Secretariat and the Ministry of Works and Transport.
The Governor who interacted with some of the workers assured them of better welfare packages as he solicited for their corporation.
