The Grand Patron ( Hassan Ahmed Danbaba – The Magajin Garin Sokoto) and all members of Gamji members association has commended President Muhammadu Buhari for his support in reclaiming the lost glory of the agricultural sector.
In a statement released by the grand patron of the Gamji Members Association, Mr Hassan Ahmed Danbaba, The gamji members has saluted the good works of Mr President and CBN for their enthusiasm in the Agricultural sector.
Mr hassan noted that, as farming was the bedrock of Nigerian economy, Mr. President has done well in rejuvenating the agricultural sector.
They organization also commended the president efforts in appointing intellects like the CBN Governor who has stare the country through various programs, policies, interventions to support and propagate the agricultural sector.
Mr Hassan on behalf of the organization also applauded the president in the banning of the importation of maize. As all region in the country has the capability to produce maize either during the dry season or the wet season.

“Before the advent of oil, agriculture has been the bedrock of our economy and suffice to mention Mr. President has done well in rejuvenating the agricultural sector.
“We will also like to call on Mr. President for appointing intellects like the CBN Governor who has stare this country through various programs, policies, interventions to support and propagate the agricultural sector.
“Mr. President has done well with the CBN in banning the importation of maize. All regions in Nigeria have the capability to produce maize either during the dry season or the wet season and Nigeria’s farmers can equally produce maize for local consumptions and also export the produce to earn foreign exchange.
“We have absolutely no reason whatsoever to import maize and call on the President to additionally support maize farming.
President Buhari and the CBN have achieve tremendous success with rice farming and seek special intervention also with maize farming.
