Health officials at the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has said fully vaccinated Americans can now return to some sense of normalcy.
The announcement of the new safety guidelines was made on Monday at the White House during the coronavirus task force briefing.
The guidelines stated that those who have received the required jabs can visit with other vaccinated people and some unvaccinated people.

CDC said people are considered protected two weeks after they must have taken the final dose of their vaccine.
According to the new guidelines, fully vaccinated American can skip testing or quarantine when exposed to Covid-19, unless symptoms appear.
The guidelines also call for masking and distancing from those who are unvaccinated and who may be at an elevated risk of serious Covid-related complications.
Senior Advisor, Andy Slavitt on the COVID-19 response said government has begun to describe what a world looks like as the multinational state moves beyond Covid-19, adding that the list of activities will continue growing as more people get vaccinated.

Slavitt reteirated that those who are vaccinated are still required to follow other basic safety measures, like wearing masks and socially distancing in public as well as avoiding large crowds and travel.
Although over 30 million Americans have been fully vaccinated, but CDC Director, Dr Rochelle Walensky said over 90% of the population are yet to be vaccinated.
He added that the guidance will continue to be updated “as more people get vaccinated and science and evidence expands”.
The US has reported over 29 million virus cases and 525,000 deaths.
