Boxing legend Floyd Mayweather has taken a swipe at former dual weight UFC champion Conor McGregor who announced his retirement this past weekend.
The 31-year-old took to social media immediately after UFC 250 concluded to announce he was ending is career in sport for the third time in four years, Floyd trolled the UFC superstar for retiring by making a comment on Cornor’s recent Instagram post. which has already garnered a lot of attention on the internet.
Cornnor McGreegor announced his retirement via twitter followed by a photo showcasing a baked cake with “Happy Retirement Daddy” written all over it, However Floyd Mayweather ruined the announcement by slamming the UFC champion Cornor.
Mayweather wrote:
“If I’m not mistaken, didn’t you tell Mike Tyson you could beat me if we fought a second time? Now you’re quitting! I thought you wanted to beat the best? Well, if you decide to come back, I will be waiting to punish you again,”
Apperantly Cornor had told Mike Tyson he would beat Mayweather if they had another fight, The undefeated, 50-0 boxer Floyd commented to call out McGregor for quitting as he stated he will be waiting for a highly anticipated rematch whenever he decides to return to fighting, as McGregor has announced his retirement 3 times in just four years; Boxing fans around the world are anticipating Cornor’s return for a rematch between the two legend “Mayweather vs Cornor McGregor part 2”
