Ibrahim Shamaki, the father of one of the kidnapped students of the Federal College of Forestry Mechanisation, Afaka in Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State, North-West Nigeria, is dead.
Recall that Control TV earlier reported that gunmen invaded the school and kidnapped about 39 students which include 23 female and 16 male.

The bandits later released a video of their victims who pleaded with the government to rescue them. Fatima Ibrahim was one of the students who pleaded in the viral video.
Ibrahim passed away Friday evening while relatives were preparing to take him to a hospital for treatment after suffering a heart attack.
The development occurred hours after the state government met with representatives of the parents at the Government House.
Early this week, the affected families cried out about their situation at a press conference.
“We will continue to hold the feet of the authorities to the fire until our children return safely”, they vowed.
